Make plans to attend the Western PA Construction Career Day 2011 at the Forbes Road Career and Technology Center in Monroeville on April 12, 2011 to meet and speak with 500-1,000 high school students who want to learn about our industry. The event is open to 9th - 12th grade students from both public and private schools. There will also be students in attendance who are enrolled in career and technology programs such as general construction, welding, carpentry, diesel mechanics, masonry, and other trades.

The success of this event is largely dependent on exhibitors consisting of heavy/highway contractors, engineering firms, material suppliers, manufacturers, apprenticeship programs, vocational training schools, colleges, universities, and other businesses who play a role in training and education or are employers in the dynamic world of transportation construction.
