CLC Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh Day

On Saturday, April 30, 2011 the CAWP Constructors Leadership Council (formerly the YCF) participated in Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh and helped a low-income family in McKees Rocks make improvements to their home. The CAWP CLC volunteers performed the following tasks: demolition of plaster walls, installed new walls, plumbing, etc for a new bathroom and bedroom on the first floor of the home, installed miscellaneous life safety equipment, such as smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers, and general clean up. CAWP randomly selected one volunteer for the CLC RTP drawing. The winner received a $100 gift card.
