CAWP Legislative Committee Mission Statement

The Constructors Association of Western Pennsylvania’s Legislative Committee reviews the legislative efforts of the Association and, where appropriate, recommends policy on legislative proposals. We identify critical legislative priorities important to the union heavy and highway construction industry and assist in the development of legislative strategies to promote the union heavy and highway construction industry. Our Committee provides industry testimony at public hearings. We hold and promote others to attend CAWP legislative receptions and urge members to become involved in legislative matters important to their industry.
